Our Business Continuity Management

Crisis management procedures with reference to the corona virus

In view of the extensive measures taken by numerous governments to slow down the spread of the corona virus, we would like to inform you about the measures that Universal-Investment has implemented to be prepared for possible problems caused by the pandemic situation.

In order to mitigate damage and to protect our employees, our customers and our company as a whole from potential risks, a comprehensive business continuity management system (BCM) is in place.

Within this team, we are monitoring the situation and are ready to take further measures in addition to those already implemented. Below you will find an overview of the activities we have already executed

  • Daily analysis of the situation by our BCM committee
  • Strict travel restrictions are in place
  • Ongoing optimization of the technical requirements for extensive decentralized work
  • Internal hygiene measures and code of conduct 14-day quarantine for returnees from risk areas
  • Active information of our customers and partners via email
  • Continuous dialogue with our medical service
  • Active communication of measures for crisis preparation to staff

In addition, we have divided operating units such as fund accounting or our risk management into three geographically separate groups. We also benefit from the proven cooperation of our teams within the three production locations of the Universal Investment Group in Germany, Luxembourg and Poland.

It is our claim to continue our service offer for our customers in the accustomed service quality.  Should this not be possible in individual areas due to the development of the pandemic, affected customers will be informed immediately.

Customers and partners who have questions or need further information can contact their respective contact persons at Universal-Investment any time. For media enquiries, please contact our spokesperson below.
