Legal Fund Governance – Alternative Investments
Grow with us! We are currently looking for a colleague to join our Legal Fund Governance - Alternative Investments Team that is part of our Legal Fund Governance Department.
Your tasks and responsibilities:
- Your main tasks will be the inhouse legal advice with regard to all alternative fund related topics, inter alia the drafting and negotiation of documents in relation to the launch as well as amendments of alternative investment funds and their special purpose vehicles. You will be in contact with clients, service providers and regulatory authorities.
- In addition, you will review documents in connection with securitizations.
- The legal review and negotiation of transaction agreements are also your responsibility.
- Another aspect is the inhouse legal advice directly related to the assets held by alternative investment funds.
- Your field of activity is completed by the steering of legal topics and projects.
Your skills and experience:- Successfully completed law degree
- A minimum of three years’ professional experience in the Luxembourg investment fund industry and/ or credit institution,
- Strong capacity for teamwork, motivation, reliability, resilience as well as a service-oriented approach,

Responsable du Contrôle (“RC”)
Are you passionate about ensuring regulatory compliance within the fund industry? We're seeking a proactive and knowledgeable Responsable du Contrôle (“RC”) to join our team. If you have a solid understanding of AML/CFT frameworks and regulatory requirements, coupled with exceptional communication skills, we want to hear from you!
Your tasks and responsibilities:
- Take charge as the Responsable du Contrôle ("RC") for our managed companies ("SICAV”), ensuring adherence to AML/CFT policies and regulations.
- efine and regularly review the AML/CFT framework for SICAV, including policies, risk assessments.
- Monitor AML/CFT activities within the funds, including on-site visits with Asset Managers, Transfer Agents and other service providers
- Evaluate key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Prepare and present periodical, ad-hoc, and annual reports on RC’s activities, recommendations, and any irregularities identified.
- Collaborate with the SICAV's Responsable du Respect ("RR") and participate in board meetings to provide updates on AML status.
- Be the privileged contact person for competent authorities regarding AML/CFT matters and serve as the first point of escalation for any ML/CFT-related issue of the SICAV
Your skills and experience:- Prior experience in the fund industry is essential, along with a solid understanding of Luxembourg fund-related legislation and AML/CTF regulations.
- Four to five years of experience in a similar role and/or background in Transfer Agency, Portfolio Management, or audit with a focus on AML activities.
- Proficiency in understanding customer requirements and concerns, coupled with the ability to identify and implement effective solutions.
- Reliability, resilience, self-initiative, and excellent customer skills are essential for success in this role.
- Completed degree in business administration, economics, business law, or law would be a plus.
- Fluent in English and good public speaking skills.

- At least 3 years of relevant professional experience in a law firm or in an international company, additional asset in case of previous experience in the financial sector;
- Strong knowledge of civil and corporate law as well as governance principles;
- Proven experience in drafting, negotiating and reviewing complex corporate agreements and documents;
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills with a keen attention to detail;
- Ability to communicate complex legal concepts effectively to non-legal stakeholders;
- Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment;
- Fluency in English. German would be a plus.

IT Senior Analyst & Developer

Your tasks and responsibilities:
- Creating usable, efficient Java code, acquire the necessary functional and technical knowledge to support the business applications for which you are in charge;
- Monitoring production and applications stability. Ensure the proper performance of applications when supporting daily operations and executing technical processes;
- Be part of IT support activities with a proactive approach to client servicing and to timely problem solving. Constantly coordinate and follow-up on support tickets and developments with the software supplier;
- Developing and building micro-service based architecture. Implement the developments requested by business projects or technical evolutions. Define unit tests, organize and participate in integration tests. Ensure that developments are released to production in compliance with EFA's change management procedures;
- Manage updates and new releases, working hand-in-hand with the software supplier and with the IT infrastructure teams. Identify and recommend technical solutions to respond to new requirements following a proactive, open and innovative approach. Be in charge of corrective and evolutionary maintenance;
- Lead internal meetings with your team members and project stakeholders.
- Participate in IT on-call duty according to the constraints of the applications in your domain;
- Overseeing planning, designing, execution and reporting of tests to ensure that software meets quality standards and is free from errors of defects
- Fill the role as ambassador for testing and increase the usage of testing processes and tools throughout the IT estate
Your skills and experience:- BSc or MSc degree in Computer Science and at least 3 years’ experience in a similar role;
- You have strong foundation in Object Oriented Programming and Design Patterns and understanding and practical skills in relational database technologies
- You are familiar with the Oracle PL-SQL language, Java development in order to be able to implement communication interface between the core systems;
- You are fluent in English.
- You enjoy IT software package implementation and are keen to participate actively in the realisation of projects;
- You are a strongly solution-oriented;
- You enjoy contact with users and have a good understanding of their work;
- You have previous experiences or knowledge of the fund industry, would be an asset but not required.

IT System Developer

Your tasks and responsibilities:
- You support the development of a centralized quality check across all customers, both in the area of data checks and process checks.
- You support the interfaces around the financial data of Bloomberg, Reuters and also WM of our customers of the SaaS platform with core system SimCorp Dimension
- You work on the further development and conception of applications for the creation of master data and market data

Your skills and experience:- Successfully completed studies in computer science or comparable training as an IT specialist

Project & Process Analyst - Alternative Investments
