Your tasks and responsibilities:

• Supporting both the Board and Executive Leadership team in managing the Company’s compliance obligations
• Monitoring and advising on Universal Ireland’s principal business activities and reporting to the Board on Compliance areas
• Keeping up to date with the latest industry developments around regulation and best practices, to support the Company and its funds under management in an ever-changing environment
• MLRO duties including the reporting of any reported suspicious transactions
• Running the Compliance area with one senior Compliance professional direct report
• Working closely with other Compliance departments in the Group
• Act as interface to internal and external auditors and supervisory authorities regarding test management
• Overseeing planning, designing, execution and reporting of tests to ensure that software meets quality standards and is free from errors of defects
• Fill the role as ambassador for testing and increase the usage of testing processes and tools throughout the IT estate

 
Your skills and experience:

• Prior experience of acting in a PCF role in the area of Compliance
• Prior experience of working in a ManCo
• In-depth knowledge of the industry's standards and regulations.
• Strong leadership and personnel management skills
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively at all levels of the organization and with external partners
• Proven track record in developing and implementing compliance programs that have successfully mitigated risks
• Ability to handle high-stress situations and complex compliance issues with a calm and strategic approach.
• Fill the role as ambassador for testing and increase the usage of testing processes and tools throughout the IT estate

• Supporting the Administration team in ensuring timely provision of all deliverables
• Ensure, at all times, tasks and processes are compliant with regulatory requirements
• Ensure appropriate documentation accompanies all departmental processes and kept current
• Continually look at improving departmental performance and efficiencies by enhancing existing processes and suggesting new innovative ideas for the department
• Participate in the planning and implementation of client projects and product developments
• Participate in the onboarding of new clients, funds, OSP’s and delegates within the Administration function, both from a fund launch and fund migration perspective

 
Your skills and experience:

• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Ability to engage constructively with clients, internal and external parties
• Good communication and writing skills
• Natural curiosity

• Basic knowledge of Excel
