    Your tasks and responsibilities:

  • Legal Fund Governance – Alternative Investments

    Your tasks and responsibilities:

    • Your main tasks will be the inhouse legal advice with regard to all alternative fund related topics, inter alia the drafting and negotiation of documents in relation to the launch as well as amendments of alternative investment funds and their special purpose vehicles. You will be in contact with clients, service providers and regulatory authorities.

    Your skills and experience:

    • Successfully completed law degree

  • Responsable du Contrôle (“RC”)

    Are you passionate about ensuring regulatory compliance within the fund industry? We're seeking a proactive and knowledgeable Responsable du Contrôle (“RC”) to join our team. If you have a solid understanding of AML/CFT frameworks and regulatory requirements, coupled with exceptional communication skills, we want to hear from you!

    Your tasks and responsibilities:

    • Take charge as the Responsable du Contrôle ("RC") for our managed companies ("SICAV”), ensuring adherence to AML/CFT policies and regulations.
    • efine and regularly review the AML/CFT framework for SICAV, including policies, risk assessments.
    • Monitor AML/CFT activities within the funds, including on-site visits with Asset Managers, Transfer Agents and other service providers
    • Evaluate key performance indicators (KPIs).
    • Prepare and present periodical, ad-hoc, and annual reports on RC’s activities, recommendations, and any irregularities identified.
    • Collaborate with the SICAV's Responsable du Respect ("RR") and participate in board meetings to provide updates on AML status.
    • Be the privileged contact person for competent authorities regarding AML/CFT matters and serve as the first point of escalation for any ML/CFT-related issue of the SICAV

     
    Your skills and experience:

    • Prior experience in the fund industry is essential, along with a solid understanding of Luxembourg fund-related legislation and AML/CTF regulations.
    • Four to five years of experience in a similar role and/or background in Transfer Agency, Portfolio Management, or audit with a focus on AML activities.
    • Proficiency in understanding customer requirements and concerns, coupled with the ability to identify and implement effective solutions.
    • Reliability, resilience, self-initiative, and excellent customer skills are essential for success in this role.
    • Completed degree in business administration, economics, business law, or law would be a plus.
    • Fluent in English and good public speaking skills.

The AML / KYC Analyst will be responsible for conducting due diligence on new and existing clients to ensure compliance with anti-money laundering (AML) and know your customer (KYC) regulations and guidelines.     Your tasks and responsibilities:

    • Perform Initial and/or Ongoing Due Diligence on a daily basis within the Private Asset or Traditional Funds team in line with internal policies and procedures and maintain the working tools operational and up-to-date.

    • Fully qualified Polish lawyer and holds a license to practice law;

    • Strong knowledge of civil and corporate law as well as governance principles;
    • Proven experience in drafting, negotiating and reviewing complex corporate agreements and documents;
    • Excellent analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills with a keen attention to detail;
    • Ability to communicate complex legal concepts effectively to non-legal stakeholders;
    • Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment;
    • Fluency in English. German would be a plus.

    Your tasks and responsibilities:

    • Opening of financial instrument identification: gathering the necessary documentation, understanding the functioning and characteristics of the instrument, opening the identification in the database to allow the recording of transactions, sending pre-settlement instructions, price/evaluation provision, control of investment limits, preparation of risk reports and financial statements.
    • Processing of corporate actions : analyzing and recording the corporate actions on the system in order to include them in the NAV calculation.
    • Securities maintenance : updating data that are subject to periodic changes or modified : variable interest rate, inflation factor, amortization factor
    • Identify and record the necessary updates to securities data.
    • Investigate and resolve issues relating to securities and corporate actions : check the accuracy of information on different providers

     
    Your skills and experience:

    • Previous experience in the fund industry, ideally in the field of financial instruments;
    • Good knowledge of financial instruments, financial market mechanisms and the functioning of investment funds;
    • University degree in Finance, Economics, or equivalent
    • Fluent English language skills
    • Good attention to detail and time management skills

    Your tasks and responsibilities:

    • Supporting both the Board and Executive Leadership team in managing the Company’s compliance obligations
    • Monitoring and advising on Universal Ireland’s principal business activities and reporting to the Board on Compliance areas
